CanCorp Financials Professional

This information is provided for historical research purposes. The description below was written in 2002. CanCorp Financials ceased and was supplanted by another resource called Corporate Retriever. That product was discontinued by the vendor, Micromedia (ProQuest) at the end of 2006. For a description of Corporate Retriever see: http://www.lib.uwo.ca/business/corpretriever.html

CanCorp Financials Professional, a web-based product, provides financial and management information extracted from the

  • Companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange
Most information is easily downloaded into other applications, including spreadsheets and databases, for full analysis. You also have full access to official filings, the President's Letter to Shareholders, company history, ownership data, and financial footnotes for the TSE 300.

It should be noted that the Business Library has a historical collection of Compact Disclosure Canada, the CD-Rom product that preceded CanCorp Financials Professional. (library has: 1992-2000 ... data would therefore range from 1985 to 2000) Persons attempting to find historical information on Canadian companies should speak to Business Library staff.
