eBook Vendors
eBooks at Western Libraries
Western Libraries purchases many books in electronic format in addition to print. E-books have some advantages that their print counterparts do not:
- Full text searching of the entire book or just a single page
- More than one user can access a book at a time (though this does vary according to different e-book vendors/companies)
- Many e-book vendors have a read out-loud feature in which you can listen to the book
- You don't have to return the book to the library or pay overdue fines
- Ability to use RefWorks and Write-N-Cite to cite your references
- They are environmentally friendly!
