Searching for MyiLibrary e-books in the Catalogue:
MyiLibrary is an online electronic book vendor, which Western Libraries subscribes to. Users can find MyiLibrary e-books through the library catalogue and conducting a Keyword search for "myilibrary" and also by limiting to Electronic Resouces. You can also find a list of all the e-books available in Western Libraries by conducting a Subject search in the catalogue for "ebook".

All of the books listed on the following page are part of the MyiLibrary subscription Western Libraries supplies. If you click on a title of interest it may say that it is a "Taylor & Francis e-book".

"Taylor & Francis" is the publisher of the book, but the e-book itself is hosted by MyiLibrary. Next, click on the link provided and you will be taken to MyiLibrary's website and the e-book itself.

From here you can start reading the e-book online by clicking the + symbol under "Browse Table of Contents". 
To Search pages or the entire book, simply click the "Search" tab on the left hand side beneath the MyiLibrary logo.
Notes:
MyiLibrary provides you with a feature in which you can take notes while reading the book online. You can save these notes for later or even send them to RefWorks. To start to make notes, simply click the Notes tab on the left hand side.

You will then be promted to enter your email address and a password. For first time users, please click "Create a profile". You will then be asked to enter your email address and click the "Create Account" button. MyiLibrary will then send you an email including your password (which they create for you).
Once you have your password, you can now type in your email address and password and you will be logged into the Notes function. From there you can "Create/Edit Notes".

In the Notes area you will be asked to name your new Note. You can have separate Notes for each page and when you are finished, simply click "Close Window" beneath the MyiLibrary logo, and you will be taken back to the page you were on before beginning the Note.
