Shared Library Catalogue - Searching by Keyword Page 1 of 11

A keyword search is probaby the best way to begin looking for books, and IS the best way to search for scores and sound recordings. 

To search for works by keyword:

1. From Western Libraries homepage, click on the CATALOGUE button on the top toolbar.

2. Under Classic Search, select Keyword in the Search box.

When performing a keyword search, simply type in the word or words (there are specific ways to combine words in keyword searches) that best describe your topic.

Note: Keyword searches do not let you set limits (i.e. date or format) pre search. Advanced keyword searches however will allow you to set limits pre search.
