Laptop Anchors Installed in Taylor Library

Laptop anchors are now available at select library locations.

Laptop anchors provide a place for library users to attach a laptop security cable while using a laptop or other mobile device at the library. Laptop anchors are currently available in the Education Library, Johnston Library (Business), Bitove Family Law Library, Taylor Library and Weldon Library. The anchors are usually found on the side of a desk or study carrel - ask library staff to direct you to anchor locations if you are interested in securing your equipment.

While use of an anchor device to secure your valuable property may deter theft, leaving any personal items unattended while using the library is discouraged as opportunistic thefts do occur in these spaces.
