Welcome!

Registration and Orientation Days for Western's incoming Bachelor of Education students are Thursday August 30th and Friday August 31st. Classes start Tuesday September 4th for this preservice education program.

The Education Library is welcoming our new teacher candidates with a library Open House and displays of our amazing teaching support resources. The Education Library has a unique round shape,  a domed roof and we are located right beside the cafeteria so we are easy to find!

Visit the Education Library anytime between 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Thursday or Friday.

And, while finding your way around be sure to check the large hallway dsiplay of library resources.  The library display case is located in one of the central hallways just past the cafeteria in the Faculty of Education building.

This year we are so pleased to be able to bring our students more online/video-streamed content.  Please have a look at the following four resources to see how four very different kinds of streamed teaching materials are making their way into the academic library collection:

Films on Demand

Anatomy TV

Ontario Physical and Health Education Association (OPHEA) Safety Guidelines and Curriculum Resources

National Film Board (NFB)
