The 25 Most Admired and Respected Canadian Corporations as Ranked by Canadian CEOs - Ipsos-Reid - 2003
"Which is the one corporation, other than your own, that you most admire and respect?"

Ipsos-Reid has been publishing a list of "Most Admired Companies" for about ten years. The list below was taken from the Ipsos Trend Report Canada, Vol.19, No.1, January/February 2004. At this time the Western Libraries do not have a subscription to their services, but some information can be found at the Ipsos web site (www.ipsos.ca). As well, when the annual list is published, it uses generates some publicity. Some samples: "RBC Tops Annual Survey", Richard Bloom, Globe and Mail, Jan. 19,2004 and "Savvy CEOs, Durable Firms Dominate Poll," Elizabeth Church, Globe and Mail, Oct.27, 2001.
The criteria for the ratings include: Best Long Term Investment Value; Innovation and Product/Service Development; Human Resource Management; Financial Performance; Corporate Social Responsibility; High Quality Service/Product; Corporate Governance and Customer Service.
