The information below was taken from the following source: Metropolitan Toronto Business Journal, Vol.74, No.5, June 1983, p.21. The table is not complete. First, we have only presented employers with over 1000 employees; the actual article contains all the companies with over 200 employees. Also included: "Location With Most Employees;" "Number of Metro Locations" and "Activity Code" (i.e. type of business). There is also an alphabetical list. Lists for other years can be found in the journal.
