  • Family & Society Studies Worldwide (FSSW) is a comprehensive resource of research, policy, and practice literature in the fields of Family Science, Human Ecology, Human Development and Social Welfare. FSSW provides over 455,000 abstracts and bibliographic records drawn from over two thousand professional journals, books, popular literature, conference papers, government reports, and other sources, many of which are indexed exclusively in FSSW. FSSW contains all the citations of the discontinued print version, Inventory of Marriage & Family Literature, plus abstracts which were never available in print. FSSW includes the Australian FAMILY database (Australian family & society abstracts), produced by the Australian Institute of Family Studies, and several other carefully selected sub-sets of records from various government files.
  • GenderWatch is a full text database of publications that focus on the impact of gender across a broad spectrum of subject areas. It is designed to provide immediate answers to general reference questions as well as serve as an authoritative research resource in a wide range of disciplines. Publications include academic and scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, regional publications, books, booklets and pamphlets, conference proceedings, and government, n-g-o and special reports. With archival material back to 1970 for some titles, GenderWatch is a repository of an important historical perspective on the evolution of the women's movement and the changes in gender roles and understandings over the last twenty to thirty years.

  • This database abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. It provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1800 serial publications, and provides abstracts of books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference papers. Many records from key journals in sociology include the references cited in the bibliography of the source article. Each individual reference may also have links to an abstract and/or to other papers that cite that reference, increasing the possibility of finding more potentially relevant material.
