Biography - Robert Rogers Blake & Jane Srygley Mouton & THE MANAGERIAL GRID

Thirty years ago students studying management and leadership would have been introduced to the "managerial grid" that was developed by Blake and Mouton in the early 1960s. Recently that model surfaced again in an article by Gary Newborough: "People vs Production", The British Journal of Administrative Management, May/June 1999.  For a brief description of the model see Vol. 3 of Theories and Models in Applied Behavioral Science (BUSREF HD 31.T4857).
