Canadian Coalition for Good Governance
Web sites relating to corporate governance are also easily located. For your convenience we will provide one that is specifically Canadian and which offers a useful starting point. It is the site of the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance whose mission it is to "represent Canadian institutional shareholders in the promotion of corporate governance practices that best align the interests of boards and management with those of the shareholder." (ccgg.ca ). In addition, we provide below a list of articles from the Canadian press that relate to the founding and activities of the CCGG.
Internet Resource -- Encycogov
Furthermore, there is an internet resource entitled Encycogov-The Encyclopedia about Corporate Governance which addresses the issues of corporate governance from the analytical/quantitative side with a bias toward finance. Although a considerable amount of statistical data and the white papers are free here, some material, e.g., Mathiesen's dissertation, is available only for a fee.
