Feature In Western News

Winds of Change Sweep Through the Forest City: London Bets on Biotechs read the headline in the National Post (Aug.13, 2001,c7) As well, the article from Western News provided above and recent activities at Western and Ivey indicate a growing interest in the biotechnology sector. For these reasons the staff in the Business Library created this brief electronic guide to some of the resources that exist in the Western Libraries. Sample articles are provided along with a brief list of books. In addition, there is a biotech analysis from S&P and a chart and a map which indicate the level of activity of this sector in Canada. For more information related to biotechnology or to have a page like this created for your course be sure to visit the Western Libraries either electronically or in person.
