Sarbanes-Oxley
Although the Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act of 2002 (i.e. the "Sarbanes Oxley Act") has only been in force for short time there are many articles and books on the subject. Our purpose here is to direct you to a few core books. For Canadian background see the Conference Board report by Reed in the list below. As well, see the site of the Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the discussion of "Sarbanes North". Articles can be found easily using various databases.
Useful reports on SOX are also found on Faulkner's Security Management Practices database that is available to members of the UWO community. A search for "Sarbanes" on that product yields several reports, including "The Sarbanes-Oxley Act: A Retrospective".
