  • PsycINFO is your first stop for finding psychology articles and book chapters.  More than 1300 journals are indexed in over 20 languages.  A quick tip: to ensure that you find everything on your topic, try using the Thesaurus. 

  • Counseling and Therapy in Video provides the largest and richest online collection of video available for the study of social work, psychotherapy, psychology, and psychiatric counseling—400 hours and more than 330 videos on completion. The collection's wealth of video and multiplicity of perspectives allow students and scholars to see, experience, and study counseling in ways never before possible.
  • ERIC PlusText provides access to over 250 education-related journals.  This is a great place to look for psychology articles on topics relating to learning and development.
  • Social Sciences Citation Index is a multidisciplinary index to the social science journal literature.  Try the 'Cited Reference Search' feature to determine who has cited particular papers of interest.
  • ProQuest Psychology Journals features the full text of three hundred professional and scholarly journals in psychology and psychiatry, and selective coverage in education, social work, sociology, and related disciplines.
  • Child Development & Adolescent Studies is a great resource for information about child growth and development through the age of 21.  The database includes abstracts from hundreds of journals as well as book reviews, chapters, theses and dissertations.  More than 119,600 records are included with over 10,000 new records added each year.

  • The Cambridge Dictionary of Psychology surveys the broad discipline of psychology from an international, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary focus.
