  • Anthropology Plus brings together into one resource the highly respected Anthropological Literature from Harvard University and Anthropological Index, Royal Anthropological Institute from the UK. Anthropology Plus provides extensive worldwide indexing of journal articles, reports, commentaries, and edited works in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological, and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material culture, and interdisciplinary studies.
  • This database features the current issues for 11 of the American Anthropological Association's most critical peer-reviewed publications including American Anthropologist, American Ethnologist, Anthropology and Education Quarterly, Anthropology and Humanism, Archaeological Publications of the American Anthropological Association, Cultural Anthropology, Ethos, Journal of Linguistic Anthropology, Medical Anthropology Quarterly, NAPA Bulletin and PoLAR: The Political and Legal Anthropology Review.
  • Provides access to full-text, full-image, scholarly literature. The growing database contains the archives of major research journals in a variety of academic disciplines. JSTOR offers the scanned image of each journal page as it was originally designed, printed, and illustrated. Coverage for each journal starts with the very first issue, many of which date from the 1800's.
  • The eHRAF World Cultures collection is a cross-cultural database that contains information on all aspects of cultural and social life. The eHRAF database is unique in that the information is organized into cultures and ethnic groups and the full-text sources are subject-indexed at the paragraph level. eHRAF is produced by the Human Relations Area Files, Inc. (HRAF) at Yale University, a non-profit consortium of universities and colleges that encourage and facilitate worldwide and other comparative studies of human behavior, society, and culture.

  • This database provides access to news from over 8,000 sources, from 118 countries in 22 languages. There are 96 Canadian publications, including The Globe & Mail, Toronto Star and National Post. Extensive company and industry search capabilities are also available. An excellent Help Guide, produced by the Business Library is available.

  • This is a comprehensive full-text database of the newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press.  While the content may mirror mainstream media coverage, the viewpoints are unique.

  • Find the text of stories published in LFP for the past 17 years.
