Thanks to the benefits of
open access, more and more research funding agencies require funded researchers to make their research findings freely available online so as to maximize knowledge sharing and help advance scholarship. At the same time, academic authors would like to take advantage of open access in order to enhance the visibility and accessibility of their publications. How can researchers and authors go about doing that?
This workshop aims to help attendees learn how to ensure that their published research will be openly available online. It also provides an opportunity for a discussion of issues related to open access publishing.
