Western Libraries' seven locations provide a variety of options for studying. Individual and group study areas are available in most locations. Study space is provided on a 'first come, first served' basis with a few exceptions noted here:
Archives and Research Collection Centre: The Archives does not provide study space.
The C.B. "Bud" Johnston Library (Business): The Business Library has two rooms available for group study. Book a room for your group to work in: http://www.lib.uwo.ca/business/roombooking/. Bud's Corner (on the journal floor) holds ten people and is framed by stained glass windows. The smaller study room on the main floor of the library has room for six people.
The Education Library: The Education Library has a variety of study space options for individuals located on all three floors of the library.
The John & Dotsa Bitove Family Law Library: The Law Library provides study space options for individuals on all three floors, but does not provide group study space.
Music Library: The Music Library does not provide group study space.
Allyn & Betty Taylor Library: There are seven study rooms in the Taylor Library that can be booked online by anyone with a valid Western Identity Account. See http://www.lib.uwo.ca/taylor/roombooking/ for details.
The D.B. Weldon Library: There are six group study rooms in the D.B. Weldon Library that can be booked online by anyone with a valid Western Identity Account. See http://www.lib.uwo.ca/weldon/roombooking/ for details.
The Weldon Library also has a limited number of individual research/study spaces. These rooms provide locked, assigned space to those engaged in research and writing who require continuous access to a substantial number of The D.B. Weldon Library materials for an academic term.
