Wireless and Mobile Printing

Connecting

All Western Libraries’ locations provide access to the Western wireless network. Access to Western Wireless is available to students, faculty and staff of the University and the Affiliated University Colleges who have a valid Western Identity account.

Some visitors can access the wireless network by using eduroam logo .  If you plan to use eduroam, contact your IT support team prior to your visit to Western. To view Canadian eduroam partner institutions, click here.

Information Technology Services (ITS) has written Wireless How Do I's  that explain how to connect to the campus wireless network.

Wireless Printing

You can send print jobs from your laptop or mobile device to any university networked printer in Western Libraries every library has at least one Public Print station.

Wireless Options

 

  • PrinterON Web interface. Use for both Laptops or Macs. Does not need print drivers downloaded.

Mobile Printing

To use mobile printing please visit the PrinterOn Mobile Apps page and follow the instructions for setting up your preferred mobile device (i.e. Android, Blackberry, iPhone or iPad). Once installed the PrinterOn app will locate and make available on-campus printers including those at Western Libraries.
