Taylor Library welcomes...

DeDe Dawson

DeDe Dawson started at Taylor Library in a co-op position in January of this year, and she will be with us until August. DeDe has just completed her first term at FIMS and has an MSc in Earth Sciences from St. Francis Xavier University. She has previous work experience in the Paleobiology Department at the ROM and spent three years teaching English as a second language in Japan. During her co-op placement DeDe will be working on a research project which will help inform us about how our users are utilizing e-books.

Dan Sich
Dan Sich joined Taylor Library in April as the librarian for Physics & Astronomy, Earth Sciences, Planetary Science, and Electrical & Computer Engineering. He earned a BSc in Physics, a Diploma in Honours Standing in Philosophy, and an MLIS all from the University of Western Ontario.

Outside of work time he enjoys spicy foods, comic books, jazz guitar and Wing Chun.

For profiles of other Research & Instructional Services librarians, see past issues of Taylor Matters (Fall 2007 and Fall 2006 issues).
