Open Access to Research
The
principle of Open Access (OA) to research has long been part of the
academic philosophy of many researchers. Over the past 20 years, the
internet has made this sharing of research much more practical.
However,
there are often assumptions and questions surrounding the idea of
making your research openly available. In this issue of Taylor Matters
we will address the ideas of funding agency requirements, journal
quality and impact factors, subject archives, and author rights.
