Online Catalogues :

Our quick search catalogue, powered by Innovative's newest product Encore ™, offers library patrons an alternative information discovery platform.  Encore elegantly presents all manner of discovery tools, such as faceted search results, a tag cloud, a Did You Mean...? feature, a Recently Added section, and RightResult ™ relevance ranking. Encore also provides a federated search feature in Research Pro which provides results from 5 major multidisciplinary online resources.

Our traditional online Catalogue (WebOPAC) is also an Innovative Interfaces Inc. (III) product  first acquired by Western Libraries in 1996. It provides advanced search and other features not yet not available in Encore.

Both Library catalogues allow our patrons to gain access to eight million print and microform items, and tens of thousands of electronic full text journals, bibliographic databases and hundreds of thousands of electronic books. They are "shared" with the affiliated colleges, Brescia, Huron, Kings and St. Peter's Seminary, and other campus information resource centres such as Information and Media Studies Graduate Resource Centre, the International Centre of Olympic Studies, and the Pride Library.
