Teaching Philosophy

As a Teaching and Learning Librarian, my teaching aims to help students develop essential information literacy skills not just for their academic success but for their life-long learning. I continuously explore effective pedagogical approaches in information literacy instruction and incorporate them into my teaching practice to foster student learning. I support the growth mindset theory and believe holding a growth mindset is essential to both educators and learners. I also believe educators must be life-long learners in order to offer meaningful and impactful teaching.
