BRASS QUINTETS (horn, trumpets (2), trombone, tuba)

N.B. The instrumentation is listed in alphabetical order, NOT in score order, after each heading.


Subject headings for brasses with other instruments (mixed ensembles) include: 

TRIOS (piano, horn, violin)

QUARTETS (horn, violin, ...)

QUINTETS (trumpet, violins (2), ...)


brass instruments with woodwind instruments only
are found under the basic headings.


Note:  standard combination for wind quintets: (bassoon,
clarinet, flute, horn, oboe
