Subject Headings for brasses alone in ensemble include:
- Brass Trios
- Brass Quartets
- Brass Trios (horn, trombone, trumpet)
- Brass Quintets (horn, trombone, trumpets (2), tuba)
Note: The instrumentation is listed in alphabetical order, NOT in score order, after each Subject Heading.
Subject headings for brasses with other instruments (i.e. mixed ensembles) include:
- Trios (piano, horn, violin)
- Quartets (horn, violin, ...)
- Quintets (trumpet, violins (2), ...)
- Wind Quintets
Exception: Brass instruments with woodwind instruments only are found under the basic headings.
