Courses in statistics, research design, data analysis, and social science methodology
The Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) Summer Program is internationally recognized as a preeminent learning environment for basic and advanced training in social science research methodologies and technologies. Courses include hands-on analysis of research datasets. Instructors are experts in their fields who are adept at making complex subject matter understandable. Brush up on your basic skills in statistics and quantitative methods, keep apace of the latest analytic innovations, or develop research skills particular to a substantive problem.
Course offerings include four-week sessions (at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor) and 3-day to 5-day workshops (held in Ann Arbor and elsewhere).
Western is an ICPSR member: registrants from Western and its affiliated colleges save 50% on fees.
