GIS Day 2016

Western Libraries will be hosting our fourth annual GIS Day event on Wednesday, November 16th, 2016 from 1-4pm in the Atrium of The D.B. Weldon Library.

GIS Day is a global event which highlights the research and real-world applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology. The event consists of 7-minute lightning talks, poster presentations, and hands-on activities which showcase the use of GIS. Prizes are available to be won!

Students, staff, and faculty from Western University and the affiliated university colleges, Fanshawe College, as well as members of the public are invited to attend.
