Extended Library Hours begin April 3

Western Libraries will once again offer extended library hours in Weldon and Taylor for the April exam period. To ensure a safe study environment, Western identification (i.e. WesternONE card) IS REQUIRED to enter both Weldon and Taylor Libraries after 9 pm during extended hours with bag checks also taking place during this time.  Extended hours are as follows:

The D.B. Weldon Library

April 3 – 15: Open 24 hours
Note: Service Desk OPEN Monday - Thursday, 8am - 8pm; Friday, 8am - 5pm; Saturday - Sunday, 10:30 am – 5 pm

April 16 – 29: 8 am to 2 am
Note: Service Desk OPEN Monday - Thursday, 8am - 8pm; Friday, 8am - 5pm; Saturday - Sunday, 10:30 am – 5 pm

April 30: 10:30 am to 5:30 pm
Note: Service Desk OPEN 10:30 am – 5 pm

Allyn & Betty Taylor Library

April 8 – 29: 8:30 am to 12 midnight
Note: Info Desk OPEN Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday 11:30 am - 6 pm. Research Help available Monday to Friday 11:30 am – 3:30 pm

April 30: 8:30 am to 9:30 pm
Note: Info Desk OPEN 11:30 am - 6 pm, Research Help CLOSED


The USC will provide late night shuttle service (12:30 am – 4 am) between April 4 – 15, and from 12:30 am to 2 am on April 16 – 30. For details about pick-up locations and routes please visit Western USC's Transportation Page.

In order to ensure a safe and clean study environment for students there will be regular security patrols. Students are encouraged to keep themselves safe and healthy during exams.
