Workshops: An Introduction to R and Intermediate R

R is a popular open source statistical package for data analytics and graphics that is widely used in both academia and industry. According to a recent survey, it is the most used statistical programming language and the 13th overall for all programming languages. It is available for free download from http://cran.ca.r-project.org for use on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. There's even an Android version!

Over the course of three hours, each workshop provides either an introduction to R, or discussion of more detailed topics in R. Each workshop will be led by PhD Candidates in the Department of Statistical & Actuarial Sciences.
