By the end of this interactive workshop, participants will be able to create effective, clear program outcomes that describe the competencies that graduate students may achieve by the end of a master's or doctoral degree. We will discuss key differences between undergraduate and graduate outcomes, and share two research skill development models from the UK and Australia that may help faculty members as they work to articulate graduate program outcomes. Graduate chairs whose departments are preparing for graduate curriculum review or designing new graduate programs will find the session particularly useful.
