Join Kathryn Hansen for a special presentation on how to meet the diverse learning needs of students by applying the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) or Universal Design for Instruction (UDI). Participants in this interactive workshop will explore how a conscious application of the principles of UDL can impact student success and retention while maintaining a high standard of achievement.

Preparing an Effective Course Syllabus

Concrete course objectives are the foundation of an effective course syllabus. This session will address the importance of objectives and provide practical tips on creating realistic and effective outcomes and evaluations. Learn how to use the course objectives as a springboard for the creation of all other course syllabus components.
