Are you interested in an academic faculty career or a teaching position? Many academic jobs require submission of a complete teaching dossier that articulates your teaching philosophy and highlights your teaching roles, activities and accomplishments.
As part of The Teaching Support Centre’s collaborative efforts with the Postdoctoral Association at Western, we are excited to offer two new TSC workshops exclusively for Postdoctoral Scholars

Lunch will be provided at both workshops.

Join Dr. Karyn Olsen, Acting Associate Director of the Teaching Support Centre to learn about how to use the experiences you have gained in your graduate and postdoctoral training to craft an effective teaching dossier and teaching philosophy.

Postdoc Workshop: Hands-on Teaching Philosophy and Dossier Workshop

Join Dr. Karyn Olsen to review examples of excellent teaching philosophy statements and dossiers. Receive feedback from your colleagues to turn your teaching philosophy into a polished document that will give you a competitive edge when applying for jobs.
