The Western Libraries’ Open Access Journal Finder helps you find journals in your field that offer discounts or waivers on Article Processing Charges (APCs) as part of our publisher memberships.
Please note:
- The Journal Finder only includes journals published by publishers we have an agreement with. If we do not have an agreement with a publisher (for example, Springer Nature), its journals are NOT included here.
- Information about amounts of APCs, if applicable, is not included. Check the publisher website for the most up to date information.
- The options in the Journal Finder apply to corresponding authors from Western University, unless the title is marked as “Free to publish, no APC.” Always use your @uwo.ca email address when publishing.
- There are many more Diamond OA journals (journals that do not charge APCs) than are on this list. The Directory of Open Access Journals is a good way to find these journals.
