Anne Quirk

Professional Biography

I am the Archivist responsible for the Health, Medicine and Science archival holdings. My responsibilities include records management, public service, reference, outreach, and all aspects of archival practice. I have worked in archives and records management for 20+ years.

• BASc, Gerontology, University of Guelph
• MLIS, Western University

Research Interests

My current research interests, that I am very passionate about, focus on how both archivists and researchers search and find information about archival holdings.

Past research projects include how archivists answer reference questions, how archivists manage changing technology in their professional practice, and most recently, establishing a competency framework for Canadian archivists.
