Kristin Hoffmann

Professional Biography

I support editors of open access journals that are hosted and published by Western Libraries. I also help researchers and authors at Western make their work open access and make informed decisions about the best way to do so.

I have been at Western since 2006 and was previously a subject librarian in both Taylor and Weldon libraries. I am committed to supporting colleagues with work through UWOFA, having served on the Board, Executive, and negotiating teams.

I am an active researcher and a founding editor of the Canadian Journal of Academic Librarianship, the journal of the Canadian Association of Professional Academic Librarians.
