Services

Services

Services available at the Map and Data Centre include access to data and map collections and reference assistance related to locating and using statistics, microdata, cartographic materials and geospatial files.  The digital and print materials of the Map and Data Centre can be accessed on-site and in many cases via the web by downloading files to the desktop.  Specialized statistical and GIS software that supports the use of the collection can be used at the Centre, or elsewhere on campus, or from any web-accessible location using myvlab.  Scanners and a copier are also available for use at the Centre.

Interlibrary loans

The Map and Data Centre participates in an Interlibrary Loan service to either locate materials for patrons that are not in our holdings, or to lend materials to patrons of other libraries if necessary. Requests from other university libraries should be made through the interlibrary loan department of that institution.
