Scholars Lab
Scholars Lab is a place and space that supports exploration, discovery, and the research enterprise. It is an intellectual work-in-progress. The space includes a large, open plan area with 80 mixed-use seats and technology suitable for presentations and workshops. Scholars Lab includes the following:
Scholars Classroom
A 36-seat active learning classroom designed primarily for instruction using archival, rare books, or special collections, or those engaged in digital scholarship activities.
Project Room
A workspace for a group of up to 28 people. The default configuration is a board-room style table and chair set up, with seats facing a large display screen flanked by two whiteboards. Some additional soft seating is provided. Mounted cameras and microphones support hybrid meetings.
Graduate Student Commons
A workspace for graduate students to engage in focused study (open study carrels) or collaborative work with one other person (enclosed rooms). Includes 24 height-adjustable tables with privacy/sound barrier screening and 4 collaborative rooms suitable for two people.
Media Lab
A space designed for audio/video recording and editing.
Creation Suite
