Visit the Info Desk
At the Info Desk you can:
- Sign out and return books, Interlibrary Loans, items from affiliated university college libraries, etc.
- Get help with your library account.
- Sign out chargers, adapters, etc.
- Get help with printing, copying, and scanning.
- Obtain a "Guest Access" login for non-Western affiliated users.
- Ask about lost and found items.
- Get general library and research assistance.
Research
Library staff are available to answer any of your questions you have about the library and our services. We offer personalized research support to assist you one-on-one or in small group settings.
Business Library staff are happy to assist you with your research needs.

Bloomberg computers
There are multiple bookable Bloomberg computers with dual monitors available to Western students, faculty, and staff.
- Bloomberg and Capital IQ are available on all of the Bloomberg computers.
- Morningingstar Direct is only available on Bloomberg computer 2.
Printing and photocopying
There are two multifunctional devices (MFDs) in the library that are able to print, photocopy, and scan.
- Wireless printing for Western University students available through PaperCut.
- Wireless printing for Ivey students available through Ivey IT.
Alumni and guests / visitors
Most collectoins are available for browsing and use within the libraries. Access varies between groups.
Learn more about your borrowing options
There is one visitor / alumni computer available in the Business Library to access electronic resources. On-campus access to some electronic resources may be restricted due to licensing agreements.
