Info Desk
The Info Desk is straight ahead from the library's main doors. At the Info Desk, you can:
- Borrow and return books, music scores, CDs, items from affiliated university college libraries, etc.
- Return Interlibrary Loan items and course readings.
- Sign out chargers, adapters, music equipment, etc..
- Get help with your library account.
- Get help with printing, copying, and scanning.
- Obtain a "Guest Access" login for non-Western affiliated users.
- Ask about lost and found items.
- Get general library and research assistance, as well as, get help with finding music.

Music Library staff are happy to assist you with your research needs.

Book return
Items can be returned to the Info Desk or in the book return bin located just outside of the Music Library's entrance. You can return Music Library items to any of the other library locations on campus.
Printing, copying, and scanning
The multifunctional device (MFD) can print, copy, and scan. To print or photocopy, you'll need to set up a PaperCut account.

Library equipment
The Music Library has several different specialized workstations for in-library use.
- Computer workstations
- Keyboards with attached headphones
- Turntable
- TV monitors connected to a Blu-ray / DVD / VHS players
- Supplies area with hole punch, stapler, paper cutter, etc. available for use
Guests / visitors
The Music Library is open to the public during normal operating hours. You are welcome to visit and user our collection on-site. Computer access is limited.

Lost and found
The Music Library has a lost and found. If your item has not been turned into the Library's Info Desk, check with Western's Special Constable service.
