Build your online scholarly presence using the Researcher Gallery with Research Gallery. Scholars can create their own search engine optimized website in minutes, build a network of colleagues who follow their work, and submit papers directly to the repository. Faculty and graduate students can be sure their work gets into the hands of interested colleagues. Readers can sign up for email alerts and RSS feeds for any scholar page to be notified of updates and new work. Content uploaded to Researcher Gallery sites is indexed in Google Scholar and Google for maximum discoverability and impact. These sites quickly become one of the top results for Google searches of the scholar’s name. Users receive regular readership reports to track how many people are viewing and downloading their work, and who has signed up for their email alerts.

Open access article publication and distribution

Scholarship@Western is Western Libraries open access (OA) institutional repository that showcases the research produced by Western University scholars. Scholarship@Western can host presentations and working papers, videos, images, journal articles, preprints and post-prints, broadening access to and ensuring the preservation of your research. The repository is indexed in Google Scholar and Google for maximum discoverability and global impact. Users receive regular readership reports to track how many people are viewing and downloading their work, a useful metric that highlights your work’s influence.

Campus conferences come together quickly and professionally thanks to a fully online workflow. Conference editors have tools to easily manage electronic paper submission, peer review, acceptance, permissions, and publication. They can post the event schedule and the embedded registration directly on the conference site.

Open Access journal publishing and hosting

Scholarship@Western provides a publishing platform for journals. It is a flexible publishing tool that can accommodate a wide spectrum of publishing needs, from professional-grade society journals to student publications, with quick launch times and low overhead.

Western Libraries hosts a broad range of journals; some examples are: Feminist Philosophy Quarterly; Huron’s Liberated Arts; and International Indigenous Policy Journal. The Digital Commons Student journals series provides information specifically related to student journals.
