Main (M) Floor
Borrowing and returning items
Requested book shelf:
- Books from Western libraries and Omni partners
- Interlibrary Loan articles
- Course Readings ("Taylor Library Main Floor Reserves- 1 Day Loan" in the library catalogue)
Check-out books:
- Patrons can use the Self-Checkout machines to check out books.
Renew books:
- Renew books online through your My Library Account or renew on the Self-Checkout machines.
Return books:
- Books from any Western Libraries, Affiliated University College Library or Omni Partner can be returned to Taylor Library.
- Check-in your books by placing them on the Return Shelf between the Self-Checkout machines.
- The book drop is located in the hall in Natural Sciences Centre outside Einstein's Cafe and is open after Service Hours and during Academic Study Hall.
- If Natural Science Centre is locked, books can be returned to the outside book drop located near the front doors of The D.B. Weldon Library.

Computers
All public library computers (except the "Guest Access" computers) contain the following:
AODA Accessible PC:
- Software available: Magnifier, Narrator, On Screen Keyboard
Two "Guest Access" computers:
- Get an access login from the InfoDesk. Note: you must provide appropriate ID
Print/Copy/Scan room
- PaperCut Account: add credit to your account and use the Web Print feature
- Taylor has 3 multifunction devices that include print, photocopy, and scan options (colour or black-and-white)
Study rooms and media rooms
Rooms bookable online:

- Bookings are limited to a maximum of two hours per day
Taylor Community Corner
- In support of student groups and club activities throughout the year
- Taylor Community corner is bookable for student events
